Welcome to my site!
I’m Kate — an art psychotherapist, ceramicist, and former science teacher based in Sheffield. My path to this work has been anything but straight: a zoology degree, twenty years in education, my own and my family’s neurodivergence journey, and a deep, lifelong connection to the natural world. That winding path is exactly what I bring to the therapy room.
I work with adults and young people (16+) navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, and neurodivergence — and with women seeking something more than talk therapy. Using art, clay, metaphor, and the wisdom of the body, we work together to understand the patterns that shaped you and gently begin to shift them. This website brings together my two practices — supporting emotional wellbeing through creative therapy, and crafting handmade pottery that brings beauty and function to everyday life.
